REVIEW BY: The Tom Martino Troubleshooter Crew (Kelly "Tank" Parr)

In its 34th year of operation, the Reinke brothers have outdone themselves once again this year! The house is located inside an elaborate costume/supply shop and offers that spooky ambience the minute you step through the door.  The fun starts even before you get in the house as you experience their hourly electric chair demonstrations, and the “puppet” show in front of the house.  Once inside the house, I urge you to keep your eyes and ears open at all times.  The Reinke Bros. did an excellent job of paying close attention to detail in EVERY room of the house.  Whether it’s the bat cave, polar room, or the Egyptian crypt….there is always the perfect balance of lighting, sound, set design, and acting to put you in the Halloween mood.  This is definitely an old school kind of haunted house that would give even Disney a run for their money on authenticity and imagination.  Also, it’s the perfect haunted house for the entire family and actually runs a “lights on” tour every Saturday morning for the little ones.  The Reinke Bros Haunted Mansion has become a Colorado haunted house favorite and definitely should not be missed this year.

Haunted Mansion contines to be one of my favorite Haunted Houses to go to each year. The detail of each of the rooms is amazing. We went during the week so that the lines wouldn't be long and we could enjoy all the scenery. There were so great scares as well. You enter a room and then from out of nowhere a monster is standing next to you, or behind you and all you can think about is "How did they get there?" There are quite a few animatronics here and they seem to work will with each room. Some very dark areas lead into some very well lit ones so your eyes have a hard time adjusting and that's when a monster gets you.

When you are finished you are let out into the store where there are tons of items to look at and costumes to buy. It's always a fun adventure here. Highly recommended!!
